This a is little visual commentary opposing how society typically views the male and female heart. Females are much more strong and passionate than we are allow to be, represented by the bright bold and warm colors, although you can't really tell from the picture there's a lot of detail in the yellow brush strokes highlighted with a warm red dry-brushed effect. Whereas males are really soft and tender at heart, once you can get past the cold, remote grey cloud that seems to surround many men's emotions.

This was a canvas gone bad until I redirected and figured out this. The heart is a white and gold pigment being slowly eaten by the blackness of violence. I had fun making a mess with the gold powder pigment to suggest movement.
